THE IMPORTANCE OF AN HEIR

"Events in Egypt show the importance of an heir to the throne of any organisation-whether it be political, royal, spiritual or religious. The aging president has ruled the country for nearly 30 years but now the people-his followers are demanding a change.

This highlights how important it is to announce the next leader so there is no confusion.....the abhyasis of Sahaj Marg will want a leader who is familiar to them, who has experience in Sahaj Marg and who has shown his ability to lead and speak on matters of a spiritual nature. My beloved Krishna fufiills all of the requirements. This is my wish but my son of course has the free will to choose whoever he feels is the best-we can only guide him.

Any organisation without an heir will always have a sense of instability bubbling just under the surface take not of events in Egypt my son and do what you feel is best for the abhyasis"

Everyone in Andhra a place in India, are talking about mahasamdhi which Chariji is going to take this year. This makes me very nervous. We all are directed to pray for long and healthy life of Chariji in our daily prayers. Is this going to be true

Can you elaborate on the qualities that define who should be heir to a spiritual legacy? Is inner condition the only criteria or outer character too plays a role?

Of course outer character plays an important role. But the outer charater is simply a reflection of a humans innder condition. The next heir radiates unconditional love and positive energy at all times. He sees himself in every living thing in the universe and gives preference to others, rather than to himself. He is a good example of service and is willing to sacrifice anything for the good of mankind. He believes that every soul has to reach its ultimate destination and will be willing to take responsibility to aid that process of evolution. He is a good student of his teacher and always walks and lives HIS teachings.
